This is a demo of a great music application for the iPad.Its called ChipPad,and its a fantastic application where you can edit the length of steps for your loop, set playback speed, and cut up(Glitch beats)The app doesnt come with anything exciting to get you started with.I recorded some samples through Native Instruments Reaktor 5 with some emulating ensembles including an EMS Synthi AKS emulation, and several algorithym based noise generating ensembles! Then i ran the audio directly into Twisted Tools Buffeater, which is a great tool for effects. This was the result.ChipPad is powerful, and very under rated!
Well I was hoping to find a demo on the musical use for this app. Guess I was looking in the wrong place ;). Trying to find a vid on what the app actually can do. Right now all I see is it running with no real explanation of what the app is doing to the loops that get imported. That's the vid I really want to see.
