I'm sick of people saying music sucks today. If you only listen to mainstream radio, yeah you're going to find a great deal of crap. But if you take the time to look for good music, you'll surely find some. Franz Ferdinand and the Fratellis, to name a couple of my favorites from the last decade.
And I'm quite sure people just like all of you were complaining of how dead music was back in the 70's and 80's, too, and couldn't stand mainstream radio.
My God people.

I was fortunate enough to see the Kinks 7 times. Now we're so subjected to the american idol crap machine and all the celeb private life bullshit....there is no longer a place for great music like this except for in the enlightened record collection.

Why can't we have music like this these days? The radio is filled with nothing but garbage in the form of slut pop, hip-hop crap, Bieber-bullshit and Lady Gaga. Whatever happened to rock?
