  • Monty was born in 1920, so he was 30 and she was 17 when this movie was made. They look so good together, just beautiful.

  • the most handsome guy and most beautiful women in hollywood ever..!

  • This is in my humble opinion the best screen kiss....ever! Elizabeth has the estrogen flowing very near the surface and is simmering with sensuality. They both make a beautiful couple. I want to be Monty in this great scene as I am sure many other men did as well. I suspect women felt they would wish to be Elizabeth. They don't make 'em like this anymore; not even close.

  • @josette4231 He died in his bed many years after that crash.

  • @pokergalpoker No, I did not know Ms. Taylor personally.

And, no, I was not just 'writing words,' as you have indicated.

I have prepared a statement to back up my post, and if you have an e-mail, I will send it to you.

Good discussions on Ms. Taylor are always worthwhile.

  • The most beautiful woman EVER

  • @josette4231 The part for "Roxy" in "One Life to Live" is already taken. If Ilene Kristen suddenly becomes unavailable, we'll give you a call.

  • @73SuperDuty455Red Sadly, back then a handsome leading man too be gay was not tolerated by Hollywood, Clift lived a very closeted gay life.

  • Happy Birthday Montgomery Cliff. Your chemistry was so great on this scene. You can tell Elizabeth was really in love with him.I love your cute little bushy eye browse. My birthday is on Elizabeth's talyor's birthday. He died around the corner from Elizabeth's house in a car crash. He was great in the Numburge Trail. He was so emtional.

  • @CarCriticAssessor - And what critic said that? Mel Blanc or Hanna-Barbara perhaps.

Think YOU'VE been watching too many cartoons!

  • @73SuperDuty455Red are you just writing words or did you know Elizabeth Taylor personally. I've read just about every book written on her and watched every interview she gave and I never heard her say or read for that matter that she loved montgomery in a romantic way. She's always said that from the moment they met it was platonic...you must be confused on the fact that hollywood wanted to make it seem as though they were a couple because being gay back then wouldn't sell.
