  • i can't recall the name of the soloist in the lament. hint?

  • @toisabella - yes and thank you for your kind words. The soloist is "Christine Dakin" for Act 2: Lament.

  • Thanks for posting! What station did this originally air?

  • @blackwid0w87 - it actually did not air on any television stations. it was a studio recording of three dance works: Errand Into The Maze, Cave of the Heart, and Acts of Light. It was bought on video from Video Artists International, Inc and not sure if they are still around as they sold dance videos back in the 80's....glad you enjoyed it.

  • Thank you very much for uploading it !!

  • @1787Naty - you are so welcome! I am big on "classical-modern dance" education; it's important everyone see's these videos of Martha herself. Take care! :o)

  • @98nskies - ah, that's it! thanks!!

  • bless you for posting this! thank you, thank you, thank you! the lament choreography amazes me now as it did 20 years ago. that quick series of movements beginning at 15:04, set to fragile music and framed by the impassive greek choir, still makes my breath catch.
