@HighwayUK Wow, that's very interesting, i never knew there was an NTSC patch for this game
-
The Atari ST was never better than Amiga at anything... a MIDI interface was all the Atari had over the Amiga, big whoop.... (I had both btw so not biased).
-
If you ran the NTSC patch it boosted framerates 100%
-
Somehow I doubt even the worse app could record this bad, fps looks about 5
-
@HighwayUK might just be the recording device?

I was obsessed with this game. Loved it :-) I used to delibrately crash to lose the front nose cone, which made handling of the car easier and faster.
-
I remember this game was hooked on it amazing was so in its own league its over 20 years old this game
-
This game may have a laggy framerate but it's still a very great game

If that is the game where you could only choose between 3 (I believe) teams like Ferrari, McLaren HONDA(not Mercedes back then), and WilliamsRenault (I think Damon Hill was the top driver back then or a few years later, I was a huge fan!!) then I've had this on Amiga. I always tried ferrari first, but I always sucked... then I took McLaren Honda and I won the Championship xD.
Great game... I was only 6 years old when this came out. Amiga... so many memories <3

You're so right! Only the online-multiplayer is worth it to play the actual Codemasters F1-games. I wonder how great these games could be if Geoff Crammond would work for Codemasters. The "Grand Prix"-series was far ahead of it's time and even in 2011 it is...
I remember those days when this game was awesome. It looked so real... lool. One of the best racing game that i have ever played. Good old times

One of the most realistic racin simulations for the Amigs if I remember right. A shame thst it doesn't run smooth on an A500/600 with high details.
