The difference in power of brawl at 10:15 (136K) vs at 14:20 (37K) is pretty damn dramatic.  Am I right in assuming that morale is the only factor really affecting that (100% full in the first case, nearly zero in the second)?

the morale is like the advantage and disadvantage in the battle the more morale your enemies have on your party/union the more damage is dealt and less damage is dealt from your union to your enemy. so in battle keep in mind of the morale and always try to increase it for your advantage
