We're about to embark on the last episodes of BSG and my mind is telling me what my heart doesn't want to accept:
Tyrol and Boomer may not, ever, reunite!
Still, I think they were the sweetest pair. Sigh. I just ache to see him and her look into each other's eyes...one more time.

@chucksrus84 War will not allow reunification. The scripwriters have done so well to this point, there is no reason to expect they'll go all squishy on us now.

Yes, excellent script. Chief Tyrol is a spot on Deck Chief, all the way through the series. Grace was the perfect face (Korean lady) for the lover, that much more spicy because it is a massive breach of discipline for the characters in war to be a fraternization with a Flight Lieutenant.

Her death was tragic but I really love that she actually made a choice for once and that it was the right one...Too bad it was too little, too late...
Still...you never know...Maybe one of the random!8's got curious and downloaded Boomer's memories and once they reached earth, random!8 followed Tyrol to Scotland and they fell in love:)...it could happen:)

Unfortunately your mind was right. It was so tragic. I so wanted them to get back together. When Boomer died like that my heart sank.

Her last act, to restore Hera to her Mother, Athena, was Boomer's greatest act and choice. She was the MOST HUMAN being in the show and her last decision was her saying FRAK YOU to Cavil and his attempt to make her throw her "useless humanity" away. She regained her humanity and died in my eyes, a hero. (she could never go back to where she was happy and with the Chief, on Galactica and that was the source of all her pain) I hope she and the Chief meet on the other side as friends again.
