@irelandrepublic Cyprus are a pretty decent side at home, we are not the only team they have embarrassed. It a mistake to go there expecting an easy win and we learned our lesson.

Firstly, congratulations to Cyprus from Ireland on a well deserved victory. I thought of this game today and found this.
I then looked at some of the comments and in typical youtube fashion ... it's full of stupid, irrelevant comments relating to history, boundaries, divisions, etc. Why can't people just appreciate a simple video of a good game of football without degenerating into stupid race/country conflicts. The fact is, if you were face to face, you wouldn't have to guts to say what u type

1) They are protectors of Cyprus along with Greece and Turkey. Thats what the deal said. But they stood and watched Cypriots die from the Turks.
