It looks worse when you try to stabilize the jello effect. Regular stabilization doesn't work. You do need cs 5.5 warp stabilizer it was created specifically for dslr.

Good stuff. Also a good thing to check out, the Warp Stabilizer plugin in After Effects CS5.5. That thing is pure magic, used it on a few shots in Fallout and check my channel here I think I made a quick tip tutorial to show how it works.
