Just wanting to test out the Final Cut Pro stabilization, just an old clip I tried it on. Turned out not too bad, need to work on it a little though.

  • Awesome! Now that you have used both final cut and vegas which do you think is better?

    Brad,

    JBH-FILMS

  • @JBHMEDIA I liked vegas a lot, but gotta say FCP is a lot better

  • SmoothCam?

  • @DerangedWorks Just the stabilize option, but I'm pretty sure it's the same as smooth cam

  • You made a switch to Final Cut? Nice :p

  • @TwinVisionFilms hell yeah man it's so rad!

  • Adobe After Affects FTW!

  • @zombifiedmaster Yeah we had to use it in class I took in school and I fell in love with it

  • It looks worse when you try to stabilize the jello effect. Regular stabilization doesn't work. You do need cs 5.5 warp stabilizer it was created specifically for dslr.

  • Good stuff. Also a good thing to check out, the Warp Stabilizer plugin in After Effects CS5.5. That thing is pure magic, used it on a few shots in Fallout and check my channel here I think I made a quick tip tutorial to show how it works.

  • nice. 2 things tho:

    1. Show us a before and after, and

    2. Sick location. Def want to see a short film shot there

  • Looks nice :) very smooth
