The audio in this clip from the film The Ring has all been re-recorded and synced back up to the picture in Cubase 5.1.1
These sounds include re-recording all the Foley sounds, ADR recordings, buzz tracks and sound design/music elements.
I'll be honest and say that I didn't record the glass sounds, as it posed too much of a health and safety issue.
The white noise was created by a white noise generating VST, the hum sounds came from a guitar jack leads into a Line 6 HD147 amp with insane distortion preset, the sound design/music element was created in Cubase 5.1.1 with the use of East West's Complete Composer's Collection. The rest of the sounds were sourced from exact or similar objects as seen in the clip. The footsteps were exaggerated, as the guy in the clip is wearing flip flops and the sound didn't stick out so much
Brilliant!!
