@ghostses I know about ebay and got lucky with that. I bought a 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6 OD mic Mitutoyo for $250. They were really old but they work great.

@mormanman13 Thanks for watching. I won't be selling any of my tools since I use them. But, I didn't purchase any of my Mitutoyo or Starrett tools new. I found them at local pawn shops, or on Ebay. Some older pawn shops don't know what they're worth so they can be picked up for a good price. Ebay is hit and miss, but there are good deals there as well. I'm sure you know what these tools cost since you mentioned them by name. I would go on the hunt to find the good deals. Thanks, G.

Might you be interested in selling some of you used measuring equipment. I'm mainly looking for depth and ID mics. Starrett and Mitutoyo are the ones I can use the company I work for won't allow anything else. I run a 36" VTL. If you can't let go of any of them or just don't want to sell them I completely understand. Nice video. Thanks

@ijoey44 You're absolutely right It is- and worth every penny IMO. I paid about $4500 for my Snap-on aviation style box about 20yrs ago. I wish I could have paid $400 for one of these at that time and used the other 4plus grand for tools to put in it- which were the money makers anyway. Instead I had to shell out about 15k or so for the lot. This is no Snap-on or MAC for sure- probably closer to a lower end MATCO- but for the price you can't beat it. Thanks for the post, G.

I'm pretty well sold on this box after watching the video.
Watch it full screen, the resolution is pretty decent.
Looks like both units (top/Bottom) are 18 deep, so the top chest is deeper than some(Most) of the craftsman 12" deep units.
Look at all the weight he has in the bottom 2 drawers.
This is what I am using now, and it's gotton way too small.

@mrbreezeet1The actual drawer depth on the top box is about 14" and the bottom about 16". The top cab is 16" on the outside and the bottom is 18". It's about 261/2" wide and 60" tall with the top closed. If you have a local store, go by and check one out. Like I said, for the price- you can't go wrong. I still think the casters suck- but that can be dealt with if it's a problem for you. The tap and die sets work fine. They're are better ones, but certainly worse as well. Thanks, G.

@ghostses No, I don't think I could go wrong. The casters I am not too worried about, as this will pretty well stay put.
14" on the top,16 on the bottom, not too bad at all. I did bid on another department where I am working, If I get that, I can take my tools home, So I may not need the box.
Don't want to buy the box till I know If I get this other job or not.
Harbor Freight is about an Hour from here. I will take a ride and look at them, So they do sell this right in the store ?

@mrbreezeet1 Yes, at my store they have it on display- and had them in stock. I would call ahead to see if your store does so you don't waste a few hours and tons of gasoline...
