  • That's not bad at all actually. I'm kinda surprised they hollow ground it as well though. Hollow's suck for most knives.

  • @ArtistBlade1972 amen to that brother :)

  • Do you think you might be reprofiling that blade to a convex grind, or at least raising the relief edge and converting it into a semi-scandi edge?

  • @VengeanceIV already convexed the edge...

  • @gavkoo Ah ok, must have missed that. :P

  • @VengeanceIV no, you didnt miss it. i convexed it after the video :) i kept the test with the regular factory edge but first thing after the test off to the belt sander it went lol. :) definitely a bit sharper now and much much better cutter actually...

  • what will you use to sharpen the knife?

  • Better steel and flat grind would be a huge improvement on an awesome knife!

  • Good vid. after beating on my AK-47 the wiggle did go away. Still has a very solid lock up.

  • The Spartan has come to be one of my favorite folders. And it's dirt cheap :)

  • Lol Gav looks like you made a little rat's nest

  • I wonder if a Rajah 3 with fullflat grind perfoms better..

  • do you think you could do some fruit and vegetable slicing for review too? thatd be real cool great video.

  • good ideas, how to test the knife edge. i got me the cold steel voyager, it has a full flat grind with a v edge. i convext the v edge a little bit and now the knife cuts great. thank you for sharing und come up with new ideas, how to test an edge.

  • Well I learned that I like that knife and it's on my list of must haves :)

  • What a work out! Much more impressive that I thought it would be. Good stuff Gav. Stay safe!
