It is about time people of african decent define themselves. We didn't describe ourselves as black until Europeans did. Richie is right, we are brown skinned people -Truth is I have never seen a black person, by the same token never seen a white either. I have seen different shades of brown, but certainly not black. All you who are fighting to hold on to the title of being black and declaring how proud you are to be black you are buying into a label imposed on you. I am a proud African earthman

I listen to reggae music the most, like 90% of the time. I listen to morgan heritage, richie ofcourse, gentleman, pressure, even jah cure, fantah mojah. well 100 others..:-).. I am white:) i dont feel white.. if white suppose to mean i feel different then another colour person does..:-)

I am white, i grow up around many, believe me, many many different cultures. I cant help it but see brown person as more pretty then white onces.. But if you cant call a brown person black, you cant call a ??? person white. I am not white, take a white paper next to me and i see difference, like you have with the black colour.. Nowadays i love black and white equally!. More choice of woman:-). Also more perspective of life. I cant believe people still make differences about colour!

It's so great that a musical artist such as Richie Spice is defining what brown skin truly is - not what society has come to refer to as brown skin which is light-skin, resulting from black being mixed with white.

Although I appreciate you comment, people of color RANGE IN SHADE FROM CREAM TO COCOA and there is nothing wrong with that. I've seen men & women close in color to charcoal, someone of whom were beautiful. Checkout some of the people from Sudan, black as can be. Checkout dark-brown brothers & sisters from Senegal, checkout the light-brown brothers & sisters from Ethiopia. Beauty comes in various dark shades. I look at features and bone structure when I refer to a person's beauty.
