A book signing for the 13th and final installment of the Lemony Snicket series.

Daniel Handler (pen name Lemony Snicket) and Stephin Merritt of the Gothic Archies. In this part, Handler and Merritt perform "This Abyss".

The video quality isn't great in a number of parts, but I included it unedited because it sets the context for future jokes in the performance, and because I think people will still find it entertaining. I hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, he does.

He pretends to represent his own fictional character. (Either that, or at times, pretends to be him, from what I've gathered.) 8D; The great thing is that even though everyone knows it's him, he still never lets up with the pretending; it makes it really genuine, in a strange way.
