@shiatanaga i dont think he was being lazy but i believe this is the concert that he leaves because he is so sick. im almost positive because they take him into the dressing room after teenagers and then gerard tells the crowd why frankie is going home to rest up and get better... he almost passes out on stage, thats why he's sitting/ kneeling/ whatever. he talked about it in an interview... i just can't remember what one... haha

He does the 'digging' cuz it's sometimes easier to get the notes out if you move the whole thing. Plus, he was either being lazy or tired.
