Girlfriends(S04E06) - "Inherit The Lynn" [Part 2]

Season 04, Episode 06 - Continuation of Part 1

Maya learns that tuition has increased substantially, and she doesn't have enough money to cover it. William tries to give her the money by pretending she has received it from the firm's continuing education plan, but she turns him down. Lynn housesits for Joan so that her DSL can be installed while she is away with Brock. Lynn claims that she is going to work on a grant proposal for another documentary, but gets nothing done. Joan refuses to let her stay at the house, and Toni and William also reject her. Maya agrees to let Lynn move in for a month if she pays rent. Lynn proceeds to lie around and do absolutely nothing. Maya pays her tuition, but learns that her credits do not transfer and she must start over again as a freshman. She is unbelievably frustrated and breaks down in tears. Lynn annoys Maya by complaining about her own plight and claiming to be depressed. William tells Lynn what Maya is experiencing and convinces her to be more sensitive, and also to take action to change her life. Lynn decides to make a documentary about single mothers, and asks Maya to appear.

lol. i think Lynn was right. something is wrong with her psychologically. i Cant see why she has 5 degrees and still squatting with friends. She could be making as much or even more money as william and Joan.

@bettyjtanner I do know that Lynns character is the free spirit,bohemian who has trouble finding herself. I loved lynn, she was my favorite character behind Toni. However the person I responded to spoke as though b/c she was different they should continue to allow her to be a bum. No. They always helped her, especially Joan, but at the end of the day she was a grown woman and her responsibility to her self should have been getting herself together. Thank goodness she finally did.

yea me 2 that sucks....the credits may not cross over or count somewhere else and they expect to u retake all of them i had to before, i didnt want to but there wasnt anything i could do about it unless i went to school in another city since i was working i didnt have the time or energy to do that...but i made it and graduated all on my own and without a man's help lol
