  • This is nothing short of phenomenal. Very Deathspell Omega sounding, which is a great band to be compared to. Gorguts are, and will always be one of the most original death metal bands in all existence!!

  • @39selrach To be fair, Morbid Angel already blew it. I agree on every other example

  • Really hope we get a new Gorguts album. Gorguts and Sacrifice are my 2 favorite Canadian bands. If Sacrifice can release a new album of good stuff after an even longer break, Gorguts can surely release a new album of great stuff! Here's hoping!

  • THANK YOU FOR RETURNING. METAL IS ALIVE AGAIN

  • @thysempiternus Though I wouldn't be too surprised if Deathspell Omega got inspired by Gorguts album 'Obscura' :P

  • LOL

  • @thysempiternus and one of the members is wearing a fucking DsO shirt!!! lol

  • @xjtyu I was referring to the late DsO as following Gorguts "chaos jazz death metal grind" style that they pioneered with Obscura. Still credit is to be given to DsO for taking said "style" further into progressive "unorthodox" black metal and beyond metal in general. Both excellent bands in their own right!!

  • @thysempiternus You meant to say DsO are very Gorguts sounding, I hope.

  • Good job on the resources of the bandmates.

  • I... Fucking... Cannot... Wait... For... This... Future... Masterpiece
