Watch in High Quality!

First drum video in almost 2 years! Don't mind some of the mediocre drumming, I just played some things to see how it would look and sound on the new camera. It turned out pretty good.

The quality is amazing in AVCHD format, but Youtube doesn't allow that file type. So I converted it to MPEG-2, and it lost some quality. I'm still happy with it, though.

And, as side note: This is my first video using my new Trick Pro-1 V double bass pedal. It's absolutely amazing. If you have lots [and lots, and lots...] of pocket money, BUY THIS PEDAL NOW.

  • @kaskenuchiha1 This was really just a test to see how the camera would handle the sound of the drums. I just played some random ideas off the top of my head. Sorry you didn't enjoy! Upload your own vid and show me some flow. :)

  • quality isn't high quality though.

  • @TheKaprys This was before Youtube even had HD or "360p," "480p," etc. It was only "high quality" and "low quality."

  • What kind of snare do you have?

  • Nice job man!

  • I dig the first beat in this video. its different. check out my latest double bass video man

  • I learnt to play drums way before rock band. But some of the stuff on hard and expert i wouldn't be able to play without already knowing i can move my foot and hand independently. To say that it takes no actual drumming skill to play the game isn't true at all. Given, its nothing like a real kit.. and learning to play on rockband isn't going to give u the feel of moving around a real drum kit, it still takes the fundamental movement skill and coordination which is a good thing for new drummers.

  • Nah... I have to agree with LCDemichele. Although I wouldn't put it in such a negative way.

All I have to say about it is that if you "learn" how to play drums with Rock Band, you'll be in for a bad surprise when you get behind a real drum kit. If you really want to learn how to play drums, I'd suggest you go out and buy an old snare drum and Alfred's Drum Method.
