I figured that if hollywood could play with one of the sacred cows of my youth so could I.

After more research, the bootleg-ass movie the Joe costumes are from was a fan film from 2007 called "GI Joe: Battle for the Serpent Stone".

Why can't Hollywood support the fan communities that actually have talent instead of having the lawyers fuck everybody over with cease and desists? I wish, wish, wish more IP was out of the hands of manipulative publishing outfits. Everything is going the way of Transformers - big explosions, big budget, no heart or soul.
