Italian isn't a very important language. English and Japanese are important in this field. But Japanese Kanji are difficult to understand... and Italian verbs are terrible... For telling old stories you must use "Passato Remoto", for telling recent stories you must use "Passato prossimo" ... and there are more verbal forms than English.
