MUST SEE!!! Cheerleader plays intense metal drum solo at high school pep rally.

This was recorded live by friend Pepe Agate at my high school Lakeview in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan in 1989 back when I was a full blown metal head! This was the first day of the year and this was the pep rally which I was asked to open and the reason I am dressed as a cheer leader, lol, is because I volunteered for the powder puff football game where the dudes cheer lead and the girls play football, not sure if other schools did this but this is what we did and why I am dressed like a cheer leader and I was always a goof ball anyway, lol!

My name is Jo-Jo Moceri and I was playing for 5 years at this point and my favorite drummers then were Tommy Aldridge, John Bonham, Nicko Mcbrain, Vinnie Appice, Steve Smith and my favorite metal drummer ever Mikkey Dee whom I all still love! This was before drum videos were really out so everything I learned back then was from listening to records and that is it, I never got to see how anyone did anything other then music videos when MTV used to play them!

At the beginning I was thinking "man, that girl is hideous but can she ever play drums". then I read the description and realized it was a guy. A lot made sense at that point. It must be cool to find old tapes from 1989 (I was 3-years-old). Bonham would be proud.

@ItalianAvalanche Thanks man! This was an 80's Tama Superstar, all birch back then (Neil Pearts classic kit with different sizes though). Yeah this was easily one of the best times I ever had!
