Violence in China's restive western region of Xinjiang has left at least 140 people dead and more than 800 people injured, state media say.

Çin'in kuzeybatısındaki Sincan Uygur Özerk Bölgesi'nin merkezi Urumçi'de Çinliler ile Uygur Türkleri arasında meydana gelen çatışmalarda en az 140 kişi öldü. Etnik çatışma Çin'in diğer kentlerine de yayılmaya başladı. Olaylarda 828 kişinin yaralandığı da belirtiliyor.
