This is a a short time-lapse film I made of a garden slug, The recording time was 17 mins.
You can see other clips on my site :
http://www.derbyphotos.co.uk/broadband/timelapse/

This footage has been used on the DVD release of
the film Flushed Away.

From the main menu
select Special Features then select More
then select Super Slug Stuff then click Slugcam
Thats my original high resolution footage.
When I filmed this I never imagined that it would end up on a DVD with a major film!
Thanks
Andy

  • that must have taken ages

    cool video

  • Its 17 minutes of travel by the slug, I may have taken more but as you can see it vanished into the lawn.

  • I like it ...wish you had better resolution on your camera though

  • There is a much better quality version on the weblink provided.

  • you are right ..its really nice on the other website

  • Yes, I used a small Macro Tripod which I moved every few frames. The sequence is made from 146 photographs streamed together.

  • Amazing. How did you keep your camera angle so steady?

  • must've been boring to fim that thing!

  • that's pretty cool! how did you do that with the movements of the camera?
