From our Rockstar Studio this is Tony T and now its time for NFL coverage with a lighter touch of Vegas. Its our Chick Pick Segment. We now welcome back to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia.
Tricia: Hi Tony and Hey everyone
Tony: Tricia, what is up with your Chargers. 4-6 and two games behind Denver with 6 to play. The Lighting Bolts may not make the playoffs.
Tricia: I know but I have not given up hope yet! Theyve been trying to work their way out of this funk- and Im thinking its about that time to turn their season around.
Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. Lets pick the Sunday Night affair. Its Peyton Manning and the Indy Colts at San Diego with the Chargers a 2 ½ point favorite. What happens here?
Tricia: Alright, take my Chargers to cover the minus 2 1/2 point spread. Now I know a lot of people are saying the Colts are going to steal this one, but judging from Peyton Mannings history against the Chargers- with his 6 interception, worst pro performance on tally I think San Diego will have no trouble covering the spread in front of their hometown fans at Qualcomm.
Tony: Well when Manning had his bad game last year against the Chargers in San Diego most of his receivers were injured. I mean those were practice scrubs out there in Colt unis. And Indy almost came back at the end to win that game.
Tricia: Almost? Almost? Theres no such thing as Almost. I guess that early 23-point deficit proved to be too much. And injuries? Come on! Every team has injuries throughout the season- that is no excuse!
Tony: You know Tricia San Diego isnt running the ball well so I dont think they can exploit the Colts rushing defense. And Indy does defend the pass pretty well.
Tricia: You know, youre right, LT and the rest of the Chargers offense have been struggling with their running game, but I think the Colts, allowing over 138 rushing yards per game, should be a good matchup for them- maybe allowing a little more room to run.
Tony: OK Tricia Regan says take the Chargers minus the 2 ½ points. Thank You Tricia its always good to see you and to have you on the set of Gamblers Television.
