we're learning about Mao Zedong and Chiang Kaishek in school right now for history. XD i want to watch this movie. the actors and actresses in this movies are so good. id totally give this movie a thumbs up, way up. lol

I just saw the film on a crappy torrent. The bad quality absolutely ruined it for me. Anyways, my favorite character was Chiang Kai-Shek.

Just to clarify, 'bad' quality meant the video quality, not the movie quality. I found the film to be rather boring at some points, but the end was pretty good.

I didn't learn anything, as I am a Chinaphile and know almost everything to do with it.

Yeah it was boring but the celeb cameos and the actor's eery resemblance to Mao made up for it.
