Israel's ambassador to the United States Michael Oren answered Facebook questions on the state of the Palestinian peace talks, addressing the Palestinian efforts to seek unilateral recognition and settlements.
Seffi Kogen asked, "Can you comment on the likelihood of the Palestinian Authority making a play for recognition in the UN under UN Res. 377? If they do, what steps do you anticipate Israel and the U.S. taking? Will a unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood lead to a multifront war?"
Karen Bloom asked a related question, "Can you explain why Israel continues to build in the West Bank instead of attempting peace talks?"

We are Christian-Zionists from The Netherlands, but we don't believe in the so called two-state-'solution' or a 'palestinian state' which is an utopia and a fictional idea. We are very sad the Israëli Government still believes in this lie, pushed by the world powers. The 2-state-'solution' will be the beginning of the Arab/Islamic final solution to get rid of the Jewish people and the State of Israël. Israël would do anything to gain peace, but the term 'defencible' borders is a myth!
