Man I wish the 57 was original. then do a side by side off road capability test. It would prove that back in the 50's they knew what they were doing. Today's trucks just do not compare. For the suburbanite that wants 4x4 for snow or the construction worker who might have to pull the truck off the road while working at the job site this new truck is fine. Give me the old '57 any day of the week and when the new truck gets stuck give me a call. the '57 won't.
