I certainly second that emotion. Incredibly beautiful, inside & out! I could listen to hear all day long! What a talent! And what a blessing to the world around her! :)
How true! Though I have no idea why the producers of that "TZ" episode dubbed her voice when she was with her parents but yet used her natural voice when she went to the magical land found at the bottom of the pool. That dubbed voice, by the way, was by prolific voice over artist June Foray (Granny in the Tweety cartoons, Natasha on Rocky & Bullwinkle, etc).
Grew up a couple of years with this wonderful woman in B'ham,Al off Highland Av. She was a great person, lot's of fun .She & Bim were good at throwing eggs at my car! It was all in fun.
@listerone I agree, I think Ms Badham is living in my area RIchmond, VA and should know better. Things have changed enormously iin the south. There will always be bigoted people of all races. Many of the old racists haven't gone away but are silent now and awaiting the graveyard..
To Kill A Mockingbird is very probably the finest English language film ever made.I have to disagree (partially,at least) with Miss Badham on one point....while racism still exists in this country it isn't *nearly* as prevelent as it was 50 years ago...let alone in the 30's.She seems to imply that *nothing* has changed.Cannot agree with that.
