This is our yearling Independence (Inde) being casterated by our Vet. Our vet uses a drill to geld. It makes for faster healing time, less blood, and very little swelling (if any).

  • 'fixed'. As far as my next life, I will be in the kingdom of Heaven with the Lord. No worries for me as far as, coming back as a horse.

  • concrete. The spray of pesticides & other chemicals kill horses or make them sick. Obviously, you have never seen a horse starving to death. I have 'rescued' horses, gelded them, had their hooves trimmed, wormed, & vaccinated, & fed them with nutritional feed & hay. I am the last person who would ever commit animal cruelty. Horses need assistance from 'man' to live in today's world. If 'man' (woman) acted responsibly there wouldn't be so many kids on welfare. So, yes some of them need to be 'fi

  • As a responsible owner of horses, my responsibility is to manage their reproduction. If I just let them live wild & free where would they get food & the care they need? Free range is Illegal. There are already too many unwanted horses out there that are not properly cared for. Do you want them running around the streets like stray dogs & cats? Who will worm, vaccinate them, & take care of their hooves? Horses do not do well on concrete without shoes. The blame is on 'man' pouring all the concr

  • PETA - why do you watch this video? Is it just so you can make a derogatory comment? Educate yourselves on the matter. Expand your narrow mind..

  • There's a lot of stallions out there that would make great geldings. I definitely geld. I'm a responsible horse owner and that's what we responsible horse owners do. Hey PETA...kiss my responsible ass.

  • @TheDwoods14 It might not be elective. It could have been for a medical reason. Sometimes, there is already something "wrong" with your anatomy and it is safer for you to avoid that potential altogether. There is nothing "wrong" or "unhealthy" about it; for some folks it's absolutely healthier than the alternative.

  • @ThusShawkiddwasborn y would you have ur tubes tied thats just so wrong so un healthy just uugggggghggg

  • @TheDwoods14 I sure would do it to myself, but I'm a girl, and I already had my tubes tied, so I'm pretty much done.

  • @dsr83510 ino i feel the exact same way people just think they know everything worrying about animal population but have nothing to say or do about human population

  • @ThusShawkiddwasborn okay but would you do it to yourself i dont think so so just shut up you no its wrong we all do

  • @TheDwoods14 It's not abuse, it helps the horse with his hormones which I have recently found out can really hurt himself at times. It's best for both the owner, and horse. It's kinda like a guy getting a Vasectomy. Big deal, I guess abuse too huh. Wow.

  • @dsr83510 INO II JUST HATE IT

  • thats abuse FUCK YOU

  • huh so thats how its done.....i regret clicking on this video -.-
