Big Cat Rescue is a non-profit big cat sanctuary located in Tampa, Florida. They do not breed, buy, sell, trade or exploit their cats. The cats are rescued from horrible circumstances, and are provided with a new life, filled with happiness. All cats are provided with the best health care and are provided with tons of enrichment to keep them happy.

The volunteers who dedicate their time at Big Cat Rescue are truly making a difference for big cats in need. The cats get a second chance at a happy life, which can mean the world. The people of Big Cat Rescue have been heroes to over 150 exotic cats. The dedication shown for the animals is truly amazing.

Not only does Big Cat Rescue save cats, they also educate people in order to help prevent further cruelty. They teach people how to take action and make a difference.

Some of them really look like they need to slim down a bit. Especially that rollypolly lioness! I imagine they were kept in pretty small cages before coming here, now at least they have room to get some excercise.
