You probably heard it said that God answers prayer YES, NO or WAIT. Of these three "WAIT "has been the hardest for me [hey I live in "the microwave age "] God gave me the words to this song at a time when my life was falling apart literally .I was in trouble at and suspended from work, my heart had just been broken by someone I really loved then I returned one evening to find my house broken into by thieves and robbed almost empty .It was the longest three months of my life. It seemed like years to me but God turned it round for me in His time. Am still learning how to wait on Him.

I waited patiently, for you Lord
And you heard my cry you saved me
Lifted me from despair
Set my feet on higher ground
(You) gave me a new song to sing

Those who wait upon the Lord
Will renew their strength
