@magicshadow50 of course i have, that is exactly what i'm referring to ! it's not narrow-mindness at all, it's an accurate observation. for the record, i like it, just like southern american english ! it may have seemed like i was ridiculing or being a cunt, but, imho, the american south has a dialect that is as sweet sounding but as difficult to comprehend as thick u.k. dialects. it all sounds fascinating to me, from an audio & verbal point of view. no harm intended. cheerio.

lol..i remember when they filmd the series.i had the unfortunate position of workin in 1 of the pubs in the series.(tho cant find it on youtube anymore) its was far less tougher thn many pubs iv stepped into in the past.more rougher..as in a total sht hole u would be better avoidin and tryin t fget if u ever did enter..half the buildin was fallin down and in disrepair in a big way.. tho some w real heavy drinkin regulars..they w all wrkin ppl.jus some got a lil out their pram after a few drinks.
