I'm playing this in February for a recital...could never dream to match such precision though.

@hentaiwarrior16 She played the Tchaikovsky concerto that night. I wondered that evening why she played the fast sections of the first part slower when she came to the staccato section. I did not understand it for I never heard any other violist do that. On her recording she also does that. Till I looked in the score and saw that it's supposed to be played a bit slower when it comes to the staccatos :-). She is so good...

I'm glad that I quit while I was ahead. To play with that much precision and musicality is tough to accomplish. I enjoy the simpler things in life now.
