The Great Escape (original) walkthrough: Jump To Victory

(WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS)This covers Mission 18: Jump To Victory from the PS2 version of The Great Escape.

Here's the original walkthrough I wrote for this mission:

Mission 18: Jump to Victory

Character: Hilts
Inventory: Nothing
Objective(s): Escape!

Drive forward through the next barricade and try to kick the Soldier off his bike. Make a right at the next turn and ride up the road.

Save your game

Make a right into the woods, jump over the log possibly taking out the Soldier in the process. Ride through the woods and try to get back up onto the grassy area. Drive through the farm yards and out onto the road. Don't go right! It's a dead end. Try to kick the Soldier off his bike and continue driving up the road. At the next Barbed wire fence make a right into the minefield (it's the only way). Any pursuing enemies will hit a mine and blow up just be careful and make sure you don't do the same. Continue riding down the road, a German plane will shoot at you. Drive between the machine gun fire. Continue up the road make a left at the intersection. Another tank will be up the road, do what you did before you jump the hill on the right. Ride up the road and jump the exploded bridge. Head up the road and make a left and drive through the field, at the end, until you get to the border.

Save your game

Make a U-turn and drive as fast as you can at the black colored dirt ramp. After you jump the first fence (it might take a couple tries) make another U-turn.

Drive as fast as you can to the next black colored ramp and jump the second fence. (It might take you a couple of tries like the last one. If you crash on the fence and Hilts falls off his bike down to the Swedish side it still counts.)

You have just beaten The Great Escape congratulations.
