@RockBottom215 When I started in this business over 20 yrs ago I didn't know too much about equipment. I bought used equipment till I got some gigs to buy better gear. I recently bought powered speakers. I really like them a lot. They are made by RCF. I have 2 350 watt speakers and use a 800 watt powered sub. For me it works great for all of my venues. I would highly recommend powered speakers. Less to haul around, lightweight & very crisp sounding. Check out RCF.
