The black cat that is shown in this video was taken over Labor Day weekend In September 2009 by San Jose Animal Control and killed before owner could claim cat :(
While Property Manager, Mrs. Pirslin and children were visiting tenants, this Animal control woman walked into the back yard of the tenant where children were playing. The woman, Officer Metcaf, did not announce who she was and 7 children (ages 5- 12) came running into the home crying "stranger danger!" This is where you see Mrs. Pirslin and other's in the background confronting the officer Metcaf in the video. When this video and documents were turned over to Animal Control they "lost the video and pictures taken by Officer Metcalf," in this video. Pirslin's lawyer explained the Attorney State General's Guide Lines Medical Cannabis for California to Animal Control Officer's Metcalf & Leslie Tisdale and how Mrs. Pirslin's renters are in compliance to the laws. There for the renters and owners should not be disturbed any further by Animal Control on this issue. Something should be done about scared children and the broken fence by Officer Leslie Tinsdale and her department.

Animal Control has continued to harass Pirslin Property owners and renters by charging everyone in this video and Pirslin Properties owners $1,200.00+ in fines for each person, for a broken fence that Officer Metcalf (in video) broke when looking over a fence to view Medical plants, she claims she never took. They refuse to let our people to get proper documents for their pets to be current with the City....With in two weeks launch of this video, Animal Control put all accounts in to collections with the City. Leaving us to take this issue to the Mayor and City Council.....

We are asking for comments to this video to help add to our Complaint of Animal Control and there Services. Children were scared and now confused to actions by the Animal Control. Animal Control Should take action on Officer Metcaf for scaring innocent Children! Please help.....

  • @kaushin

We feel for ya and sorry about your dog. The more people you can get to watch this and make comments and share their stories the better. We can use this to help fight against San Jose Animal Control and how they abuse power. How can any supervisor let an employee scare children??? Can you help and have your friends comment?

  • Your ignorance shines threw your comment... Anyone Law officer or not, when setting up an appointment it is professional to show up the the appoinment day and time. Looks like you smoked too much in your past to know what people use THC for. Check out Glacoma and how it is used in the eyes, not everyone smokes stupid!!!!

  • Law enforcement officers don't need to call prior to visiting houses. Sounds like you've been smoking too much weed! Oh, I'm sorry... "medical plants!"

  • This is a funny video.

  • The City of San Jose voted 6-4 on March 30th, 2010 for Medical Cannabis in this city. It seems that Animal Control is against this movement and has nothing better to do then make uneducated remarks about Cannabis. There are many people that are sick and dying out there that use this plant to help with their needs. We will ask our patients that want to help, to view this video and make comments! Good luck!

  • @MrSeaBear Yo'ure right, there is no approved method of contact. They do, however, need permission to enter private property.
