I would have loved to see that twinkle in his eye, the excitement in his voice and his childlike enthusiasm at the suspense of an election. Tim did his job very well everyday.
But on any election night............he shined.

@hiriumi I agree. Tim Russert is THEE Newscaster who should have been here to announce Obama's Win & his voice should have recorded this "History" for the World. Tim Russert was one of the most knowledgeable & intelligent men on the planet. He is sorely missed, & that's a FACT!! I see no other to effectively replace him.
