Two first-time gorilla mothers themselves rescued from pet traders as infants care for their babies at the Limbe Wildlife Centre, Cameroon. The centre normally operates a contraceptive programme for gorillas, to ensure that all available space is used for rescued animals, but unfortunately it was not effective in these cases. A new approach is now being used, but in the mean time Brighter with baby Balinga and Akiba with baby Atinbi are being cared for by the dedicated staff at Limbe http://www.limbewildlife.org

  • wow they look at the camera and leave I think it makes them uneasy

  • This makes me happy

This is how all animals should live !!

  • The loving tenderness not only between mother and baby but also between the two mothers is just simply adorable!!

  • She is an example to many human mothers for how to care for a baby. People could learn a lot from animals and I've personally always preferred them to most human beings.

  • so wonderful to see these beautiful girls caring for their babies the way it's supposed to be. Truely heart warming :)

  • Gorgeous

  • Beautiful video, such precious gems♥
