Amitabh Bacchan, the famous cine star of India, raised slogans 'KHOON KA BADLA KHOON' (BLOOD AGAINST BLOOD) by appearing LIVE on govt., sponsored TV channel Door Darshan and incited Hindus to spill blood of Sikhs. He was the first to give such call and spread violence throughout India on behest of his close friend Rajiv Gandhi, then Prime Minister of India.

There's never any mention of how that time after indira gandhi's death sikhs went into the homes of hindu neighbors with laddus taunting them that now we have killed her what can u do. & there is no mention of those(who are in vast majority) of Hindus & Sikhs who stood strong to protect each other in Punjab & all over India. There are plenty of stories told by Sikhs who regreted moving to Punjab out of fear, 4 their relatives who chose to stay, continued to do well all over India outside Punjab

I most definitely do not condone such things. But there r never interviews of the people whose families were kiled b4 1984, in punjab. They had a reign of terror in Punjab for years. I know one of my aunt's family (joint family) was murdered of whom only my aunt & a 4 month old survived 'coz the killers thought they were dead. They had entered their house & killed. This happened BEFORE operation blue star. & there's no mention of what happened immediately b4 this & after killing of indira gandhi

Please search Anandpur resolution on net and see whether it strengthens the ties of states with center or divides? Congress and Indira misguided nation and ruined centuries old relations between two communities for their vested interests to grab power

I am not a Sikh or a Hindu but I saw a documentary on this massacre. It was really sad to see and hear people who lost their loved ones and appalling that the Indian government did nothing to protect their Sikh citizens. I am not sure if the families who lost their lobs ones will ever find peace but I sincerely pray for the souls of their deceased loved ones and hope God gives the survivors some kind I closure.

@aparaajita10 What nonsense you write here. You talk of ONE indra gandi being assassinated following the destruction of the Golden Temple, the most significant religious site of the sikhs. Despite 1000's of innocents sikhs being killed yet not one hindu butcher brought to book despite nearly 30 years passing. Yes there were sikhs who celebrated the death of indra how dare you think that justifies the mass killings of innocents. Yes sikhs are hard working, loyal and history show india need them.

yes MrMirakal i pray too for there soul, and i think thats the,main reason that most of sikhs are living abroad.caz they cant forget 1984.they hate indian gov.for non justice. Just like muhmd ali jinnah did, he was too scared that hindustan will give second class citizen to muslims and no equal rights that y he demanded for pakistan and sikhs want khalistan for the same after suffering frm 1984.
