@musicalidea Why don't you send your question to Island Online News? It seems to me that if you want to discredit the footage, you should question the author. It seems to me that there were 2 different video sources that were editted together. One source was 3 x 4 and the other source was a wider format. I suggest you write to island Online news and ask them rather than whine about it in video comment.

What would th einterviwer gaining by manipulating this interview. It would probably come out sooner or later what Bob Kerrey really said...and then it would a backlash for the credability of the interviewer.

What i find more interesting to look into is what he really meant! It is like he knows something has been going around as roumors for years?!...

@scotne1 It would be in the interest of transparency then if you were to email the person who shot and edited this video to find out if he is being honest. Personally as a musician and sound engineer, the audio is consistent. I would agree that the cut away is poorly timed, though.

It was definitely an unfortunate cut scene. I still think it was a baited insert, it is easy to ask the question in such a way to find a nice insert to put in there if you decided to scheme a bit. It discredits it for me, the rest of the video is a constant stream, video editing software can easily find the perfect time to insert, and you can keep an audio track going past a video insert then change that later, the cut is obvious, the sound continues, it just seems doctored to me.

@scotne1 I read your comment and watched it again. The cut was in the middle of a word. Considering all the background noise and that there was no click, it looks legit to me.

There was a cut scene right before he says "No, I'm talking about 9/11." this discredits the video for me, as things may have been taken out of context, if there is a continuous single camera video of the conversation, it should be uploaded.
