i have a profire 2626 -- but i dont have a firewire port in my laptop and i dont have pcmcia express slot too - any help ? is there a way to connect it on usb or what ?!?

hi , I always have to turn the gain up all the way , the signal coming is is very weak. please give some advise. the problem happens when condenser and dinamic misc.(profire2626)thanks

i have the same 2626 interface and i have a problem: while recording sometimes cubase 6 starts getting the sound cracky and scratched (its not an interface prob cuz if i monitor the input signal souds just fine while if i monitor from cubase its cracked and if i record i record that way so what can i do to fix this thing? buffer size is ok since i can record without problem or sometimes i have it while recording normaly then its starts that.. id apriciate if u could help aLOT LIKE ALOT!!

Cheers for this. One question - how are the headphone outputs? I know from the 410 and the Projectmix that the volume tends to be a bit on the low side. That's what performers told me during sessions.

I've got a Prodigy HD2 PCI soundcard that are connected to my KRK VXT6's. When I plug my headphones in to the soundcard, the speakers don't cut out.

Can I connect my monitors up to the 2626, feed my soundcard (via S/PDIF out) into the 2626 and use it to switch between headphones and speakers?
