I agree. Music is amazing, I saw it in London, they could have done so much more with it though tbh and i hate how Walter and Laura sing out to audience during I believe my heart, it is a song full of passion and they dont't look at each other hardly at all :S I heard they revamping it, but that rumour faded it out. I hope they do, andthey do a good job. it has so much potential

@CSIFanGirl84 I got to see The Woman In White in London. Therefore, I saw it before they revamped the minimal set pieces, reshaped the stage, and revamped the projections. I thought this was a great musical and, although seemed a bit raw as the technical side goes, was executed extremely well. I had the privilege of seeing Michael Ball as Count Fosco, and to be honest, I think I saw the best Fosco. Ball revolutionized the role after Crawford couldn't continue from being sick...

Clearly a great number of departures from the novel. What a shame!

too bad I never saw Anthony Andrews as Count Fosco :"(...by the way, Walter is really gorgeous :)

Brilliant musical. And I can't praise the novel enough - it's a wonderful piece of literature.

Is there a full video of this...

@Nekona He ended up getting repeatedly sick from sweating so much. THAT is show business! :P

@shmoogle14 can we petition ALW to have this released on DVD?

All the clips just had backdrops behind the actors (who just stood there half the time)...is it just me or does that seem pretty weak? I mean, sure, a backdrop here and there isn't bad at all, but making the it the majority of the scenery for every single scene gets really boring. Is there some reason they chose to make it that way?

Apparently they thought they were doing something they thought was cool with projectors. For some scenes it works better I guess (train scene, ect)

Did they put MC in a fat suit for this? He was much thinner (though still a little tubby) in Dance of the Vampires, and needless to say Phantom, but that was twenty years ago.

Yup. He was in a fat suit for this. MC sure is dedicated. He apparently overheated several times in the fat suit.
