I kept getting this ending primarily because I'd gotten to be plenty wealthy in the Zone by killing enemies, gathering up their leftover weapons, and selling them. Somehow that translated to my guy being obsessed with wealth. Screw that! I needed all of that money to keep myself in ammo and medkits! That's not being greedy; it's pragmatism! SCREW YOU, WISH-GRANTER!

@NeroAngeloGR Getting this ending (or any of the 5 "false" endings) just proves that you did not pay attention to your actual goals. There's a good chance you missed a whooping two hours worth of gameplay if this was your ending!

that was the ending i got when i finished the game about half an hour ago and i was like O.O
so you go through the whole fucking story, get shot from every angle and have tons of blood loss, to getting irradiated like shit and all this just to have a roof fall on you...great ending

It's an ironic ending because this ending implies the player was so obsessed with material objects he didn't see the REAL problems around him.
