It was once said that the short distance between Culrain and Invershin was the UK's shortest distance between stations and the shortest rail journey on the network. Now further research has found other journeys in the UK may match or beat the one minute timetabled journey. Either way, it's still very quick! 13/11/2009.

beautiful part of the country-but I could nt see the river.The footbridge is an extension out from the trailway bridge ,and is interesting as its made from steel lattice similar to ships walkways-so you can see down 100m below your feet-even more interesting when shared with a train.
