http://www.MusicforRAIN.net - "Kenya" is a track created by Chris Taylor (CANT) Solange Knowles and Twin Shadow to raise money and awareness around the issue of access to water and sanitation as part of The Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN) founded by The Coca Cola Africa Foundation. RAIN brings together business, local government, NGO"s and committed individuals to tackle the problem of access to water and sanitation in Africa. All proceeds from 'Kenya", will be used to provide clean water and sanitation resources to Africa's most needy. Whether that's providing loos in Rwanda, rain harvesting roofs in Uganda or carrying containers in the Cameroon.

  • People in coments stop the fighting the reason they made this video to help the parts in Kenya that needs clean water. You guys are truely not gettong the true message. Solange or Chris are not trying to make money for them self, they are trying to help, with an artistic outlet.

  • How are these images negative? This way of life has different standard than ours, I don't think its fair to judge this from the automatic privileged perspective of people who come from a country were sanitary water abundant and available. If you immediately think like that all you will see is of poverty and despair. That's not at all what I saw. As a person that has traveled to similar communities done water projects, this felt familiar but informative. It can't be cliche-that's really how it is

  • Reszv

  • That is not singing, its portraying an African country with the image that every European, there is more to Kenya than just this. U should try coming and visit before picking a global problem.

  • hey! chapatis! oky, one thumb up. :)

  • typical video about africa. show some kids, a couple of slums, a couple of people trying to do something and then, to top it all off, maasais jumping. great job guys. keep up the cliche.

  • this song is hot

  • this song is great, that skirt is beautiful and im so gay for saying that haha

  • Well, my problem isnt the cause, it's the images they've posted. and solchild and KMELIZ, the money isn't just going to Kenya so why call it Kenya then only show the negative aspects that our beautiful country has to offer. It's great that Solange's cause is Africa but isn't there a better way to do this? Don't just give money or food, teach us how to make our own, how to be independant. That way we can grow as a nation, and as a continent!

  • Huu ni ujinga.

  • @KMELIZ21 RACIST!!!
