  • Thank you sooooo much! I was looking all over picking out scenes I could find from this original play... of course I just stopped by ones with different actors and such -- *sigh. And then I came across this. Where can I find the rest of the play please? I really need to see the whole thing! Also, is this still playing anywhere or have they stopped showing it? Thanks again =)

  • @phanofmusic626 I tried to send it you but you have friend lock enabled so i cant email you

  • About damn time I could watch this one! XD I am a happy girl now <3

  • @Biskuits but did you like it?

  • I still say "You are Music" is the loveliest song in any Phantom musical, even if the musical had its weak points (and as TPR points out, the main theme rips off Sweeney Todd)

  • This version totally gets less credit than it deserves, I think. While I adore ALW's musical, in the phantom fandom, it sort of runs out waving its arms in front of all the other things made going "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!" and it can get a bit annoying. Even if the music isn't as catchy in Phantom, you've inspired me to at least check out the soundtrack! Thank you for the great review.

  • I've only seen the Takarazuka one...and I can't understand it. Could you PM me the bootleg of this copy?

  • Like a whole lot of others, I would love you lots if you could also PM the show to me, or at least show me a place where I could view it. Thanks. :)

  • Dear Phantomreviewer,

You may remember trying to send me the video of this Phantom video in January. I realized I couldn’t receive it because you have to be friends with another YouTube user to send videos. I’ve tried looking for a video of this play every place I could think of. I’ve contacted Theater Under the Stars in Texas where the original production took place, and I contacted Glory Crampton who played Christine.

  • They responded but said they did not have copies for distribution. I even tried emailing Arthur Kopit but never heard back. So, could you please tell me where I could find this extremely rare play strictly for my own viewing, or could you please try sending it again? If you don’t mind accepting my invite, then perhaps you could kindly send the video to me. Thank you so much; I can’t tell you how much I want this play and how frustrating it has been not to find it!
