Here's a 1cc run of the original Arcade version of Cotton. I really screwed up the last level, but did manage to still 1cc the game. This is just the first loop. Played on an original Sega System 16B Cotton pcb.

  • Do you know that if you don't get any cup of tea at the end of the stages, you receive a special bonus?

  • @Chrono256 Yes I did. This was a really quick play, I was going for speed, not score. :)

  • an overlooked game that needs a remake

  • @Valis77 Amazingly the Turbo Grafx port was released in the USA, not that anyone actually bought it :P The Playstation port is available on JP PSN for like $5 too.

  • @superdeadite I bought the TG version, and i still have it. : ))

  • too hoo

  • @superdeadite Yeah I'd heard the PC- E/TGFX version had a really good version of the soundtrack, gotta say I don't rate the arcade soundtrack though. It's a shame the PS1 version doesn't loop :(

  • @Junglism78 PS1 version is ok, but yeah the arcade and even Turbo Grafx ports require both loops before you get the credits. The PS1's remix sound track is terrible in my opinion though. It just sounds awful. Being a CD, they should have used the Turbo's awesome redbook music. If not, should have used the arcade original. Ps1 version's music makes my ears bleed.

  • @Junglism78 Having just watched this vid in it's entirety I conclude that there isn't actually that much difference in difficulty at all, some boss fights may be a slightly harder and some larger seem to be a bit more aggressive but that's about it. Also the PS1 version doesn't loop

  • It's a shame the PS1 version of this isn't more accurate to the arcade version (in terms of difficulty), unfortunately it's been made very easy. The only thing the PS1 version has over this is that the music is a bit better
