  • When I Say thanks to my dad I mean he played this kind of music at home all the time. He had a great voice and sang all the time but "alas" not with Julia or any of the other great ones :-))

  • Great song.

  • @kennyrocksable You should be proud of your Dads music.. I never heard of this lady till tonight and I'm hooked already. Hello from Ireland

  • @kennyrocksable wow that is realy great. Will I be able to find some records of your dad? what was his fulll name?))) And about the piano part, It is very primitive music, I would even say the jazz standart, but it was performed very vertousely!

  • He was not only talented, he could blow 2 saxes at once! That's probably Julia herself on piano.

  • @kennyrocksable it is realy exiting, your dad is wery tallanted, and do you know who plays the piano?

  • That's MY dad, Tommy, blowing on the saxophone. He led the orchestra on this cut. Thanks so much for posting this! Used to have it on 78 on the St. Louis based Premier label. Mercury obviously picked it up for national distribution-and it's on that very same album i found it on CD!
