  • His radio sports shows on WABC radio were great--& his Sunday nite Speaking of Everything. A brilliant man, one of the best speakers without a script I ever heard. Any alleged personality flaws he had never bothered me.

  • Roone Arledge somewhat screwed Cosell. When Arledge moved onto news, he forgot about Cosell. Cosell was typecasted in sports. Cosell wanted to crossover like Bryan Gumbel and Robin Roberts.

  • He had a radio show called Speaking of Everything in which Cosell talked about many subjects.

  • he was so much more than that...

  • Ladies and gentlemen,

this Howard Cossell speaking of sports..........

    RIP HOWARD
