  • if you had to choose between the baby taylor and the cf martin lx "little martin" series, which would you pick?

  • @kdavis0660 I would have to compare them side by side, I am sure the "little martin" stands on it's own and is a fine instrument, love my Baby Taylor gotta admit.

  • I am a huge fan of baby taylors. and here is my cool comment!

  • @halipino: The screws do hold the neck in place but it is impossible to touch them whilst playing; It means there is no large heel at the body join which improves access to the 12th fret and beyond; The neck fits into a snug pocket into which you can add Taylor made shims to adjust the neck angle, etc; And you can remove the neck and pack it into even tighter spaces.

I can assure you that the Baby's problems do not include the neck join.

Tip: Silk strings improves the Baby's tone no end!

  • @kdavis0660 It's my understanding that the Little Martin comes setup w/Medium strings, which of coarse have better tone than Light strings that come setup w/Baby Taylor...

  • @kdavis0660 How about making your own comparison between the Baby Taylor and the Taylor GS Mini?

  • @SmelOdies No way you can go wrong with a BABY-Taylor. Washburn Rover/toxic glue from China??? Yikes I also own one of these, don't play it much but do have one.

  • @halipino I am getting this for travel reasons, but I also have pretty large hands (check my vids). Do you think that will detract from my enjoyment? I had to ditch the new Washburn Rover- it's components are foul! Seriously, some kind of toxic glue from China. Ugh.

  • Beautiful!

  • @xxHyunJoo98xx The guitar travels just fine by itself, I am not taking off the screws. I really don't think that is the justification, I think they are there to hold the neck in place.

  • @halipino The screws are for taking off the whole neck. for traveling.

  • Very nice sound you get out of it! I own one of these. I'm loving it! Just a pleasure to play.
